Scooter Heath, MSA, CPA

Invaluable Experience

Scooter is an accomplished financial executive with more than 15 years of experience. Before founding Heath Advisory, Scooter served as the Director of Operations and Finance at The Richards Group, the nation’s largest independent advertising agency. Scooter led the 22-member accounting and finance teams, negotiated major contracts with clients and vendors, handled the spin-off and integration of various affiliated entities, and oversaw the administration of the company’s health plan and $125 million retirement plan.

Scooter also served as a manager in the Private Company Services practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he provided audit services to clients in the advertising, restaurant, manufacturing, and payment processing industries. He specialized in finding practical solutions to complex technical accounting matters, including leases, debt restructuring, and purchase accounting.

Scooter received his BBA in Financial Consulting and an MS in Accounting from SMU’s Cox School of Business, where he now teaches Accounting.

He is a CPA in the state of Texas and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
